Under powered, takes forever to heat up in air fry or cook mode. Microwave functions are adequate. Sorry I ever purchased this. I have a hamilton beach toaster oven with air fry that way out performs this at less than one third the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second GE profile microwave convection 1.7 cubic ft oven I buy. The last one lasted 16 years with no issues so I upgraded to the stainless steel model which is a microwave convection and air fryer model. Love it.

This is a very good microwave/convection/air fryer. We are full-time RV'ers and we needed a multi function unit because of our limited space. This unit addresses our needs and is built very well.

Very Mixed Feelings

Overall it's a decent microwave, but it has some issues. The "air fryer" feature is underwhelming in performance. The digital display lighting is very harsh, bright piercing white. The GE unit it replaced had much nicer soft green lighting its digital display. Likewise, the surface light was extremely harsh cold bright white lighting its and should have been a warmer cooler. It's really awful, and again it was much better on the old GE unit it replaced. The exhaust fan has 3 speeds just like the old unit but on the new unit it seems that all 3 speeds are high! Low and medium are just as high. A great feature is the dial which allows you to adjust the cook time in 5 second increments.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to ensure you're getting the most out of the air fry feature and provide some info on the operation of the exhaust vent. Your microwave also has 2 options when air frying – manual or auto cook. Regarding the exhaust fan, there will not be a noticeable difference between low and medium speeds, there will be a slight difference between the low and high speed when operating normally. You can confirm the unit is changing speeds by shifting from high to low speed as quickly as possible by pressing the pads (once for high, twice for medium, and three times for low fan speed). We encourage you to use the metal tray, metal rack and glass tray and leave at least a 1-inch gap between the cooking dish and the sides of the oven for the best air fry cooking results. The exhaust fan on this model is a 3 Speed 300-CFM vent fan and we recommend you schedule service with one of our certified technicians to get this venting issue properly addressed since they are all performing at High.
