Almost identical to the microwave it replaced but controls are not as intuitive to use. Wished the dial to select time could do other than in 15 second increments. Unit works well otherwise. Seems to be as well made or nicer than other brands.

I was annoyed that it arrived with no instructions or sample recipes, especially for air fry since that’s new to me. I feel it cooks a little slower that my prior micro/convection which was also GE, but I can adapt. It is nice looking.

So far, in only a week or so I’m very happy with this oven. It’s many options to cook food is great and I l love convection cooking and air frying, and this oven doesn’t disappoint.

We really like the new Profile Microwave Oven. Easy to you and cooks to perfection. The only drawback is setting the time requires one to use it in 15 second increments. Not all items we wish to reheat require that time. Other than that, we love t.

Awesome space saving, multi-function appliance

We purchased this microwave to replace a much older (20 years) equivalent GE model, as it was showing signs of failing.
The microwave function works as you would expect. Think most any microwave will achieve that. Can't speak to the sensor or preset functions, as we always manually set the time and power.
It is the convection oven functionality that sets this model apart. We have found it to be very useful. If you are doing something small, it gets to temperature much more quickly than our full-sized conventional oven. The combination cook feature is very handy for getting certain frozen foods cooked inside and out much more quickly and evenly than either function alone would. Mixed feelings on the Air Fry feature. The manual doesn't really explain how this mode differs from the convection oven or convection roast features. For example, is the air circulated at a higher speed? I don't know, but haven't found much difference between the results of these modes in the time I have spent with it thus far.
I think it is a little hard to replicate the results of a dedicated air fry device with this microwave. I am not sure why, but I think part of it may be that it doesn't have a preheat phase. Another part may be that the internal volume of the device is larger and impacts "air fry" cooking in a negative way. Additionally, while the accessory tray and racks are useful for the convection features of the microwave, an "air fry" basket would have been a welcome addition because there are limits of what you can put in with the rack they gave you, while maintaining "air fry" like air circulation around the food.
Overall, very happy, but there is still room for improvement.
