[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blu-ray player seems to play most of my data disc movies (.mkv) and the USB port will also play movies or pictures. The tiny speakers hook up the old way, with speaker wire. Nice price for a receiver and blu-ray player, which also plays data discs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually purchased this on a whim. I was comparing this set to another brand and found that the LG had a few more features. Plus, I have an LG 60" HDTV and I thought it would be better to pair it with an LG product. It's ideal for a small living room. And it has FM presets; the other brand I was looking at didn't have that feature. I'm giving it 4 stars because there's no WiFi, you'll have to use an ethernet cable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blue-ray/DVD player died in my LG home theatre. I had to purchase and entire new home theatre system to replace the just the player/tuner. I now have a second set of brand new speakers. I stayed with LG, so I could simply connect the mounted speakers.
The set up directions are pretty much non existent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great sound, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 8.30.18. Set it up a couple of days ago. Works great, overall, except for the internet connection. When watching YouTube, Netflix, or Amazon Prime video, the picture freezes after a few minutes, and doesn't unfreeze. Didn't have this problem with the unit I used previously. What could be causing this?

Great Surround Sound for the price

I bought this surround sound maybe 6 years ago or more. I haven't had any problems with it since then. Sound good. Still on factory speakers. I am considering get larger speakers of the same wattage. the blu ray player works great all though I have never had a chance to try the 3D
