good home theater system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this system to replace a 1000 watt DVD home theater system that died on me. Even though the 500 watt home theater is only half the power it has other features that the other home theater system didn't. I live in an apartment so I could never utilize the full potential of the 1000 watt home theater system without running the risk of having the cops called on me for a noise complaint. The 500 watt LG Blu Ray home theater system is a much better fit for apartment living.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I may be young but my hearing doesn’t seem to agree with that because I’ve always had issues with hearing the movie/tv show. But with these speakers, i can hear it from the opposite side of my house if i choose. I love it! Call me stupid but i didn’t know i had to have a 3D TV tho so if they could’ve put that noticeable on the box then that would’ve been great. I would’ve bought it either way tho.
