Absolutely love this system! The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that you have to plug it into a network to get smart TV out of it. It's not wireless. Besides that the sound is great, the picture is great!

I have owned my Home Theater System for a month.
The 5.1 system has excellent sound. You can hear the entire show. Not only the person speaking, but also the background noises as well. I also own a 50" LG HDTV, so I can use Simplink to operate both with the same controller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3D-Capable 500W 5.1ch Blu-ray Disc™ Home Theater System with Smart TV is wonderful. It added surround sound to our tv. Now it sounds like we are in a theater. I love it. 3D Capable too what an added treat.

Not a home theater system

I bought this thinking it was an actual home theater system, with inputs for my satellite, game consoles etc.
It's not and it has NO inputs, for anything! It's a DVD player! That's it! I already have a DVD player Why would I want another one? And why would someone need a 5.1 surround sound on a DVD player?
Just an odd product with a misleading name.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
