Lid is Difficult

Lid has clips on three sides which make it very difficult to remove and secure into place. Blender is much taller than our previous model and will only fit under cabinet if fully closed with clips.

So smooth and quiet for the power of the blender

I am using the Sage version of Super Q - unsure whether there is any difference in build quality. Made my first smoothie for the whole family this morning. Daughter hates smoothies because of their texture. Even with chia seeds, peanut butter, kale and kiwi fruit the consistency and texture was so smooth, like a quality thick milkshake. She had no complaint about the texture. The jug is a good size and holds plenty of ingredients. The programs are a great feature and flexible too, since you can pause, change and cancel them with a touch of a button. The dial offers the ability to set your own speed and duration.
I've made gelatos with it and where there was not initially enough ingredients in the jug (I had no recipe, so just added what I though), I had to keep stopping to re-setting the ingredients around the blade. When I added enough ingredients, all was fine and it worked beautifully. No artificial flavours, all natural ingredients and the ability to make vegan version, plus no added sweetener. The gelato went down a treat!
Cleaning is a piece of cake - just fill to 0.5 L with cold water and a couple drops of washing liquid, recover and put on CLEAN mode. then you can wash with a soft sponge and warm soapy water, rinse and leave to dry or wipe down. Really quick and easy.
Absolutely love this blender having upgraded from my Boss to Go.

Amazing Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Brevile Super Q Blender is AMAZING! Since I got it, I've used it almost on a daily basis to make smoothies, milk shakes, protein shakes and slushies. Nothing seems to faze this blender. It pulverizes ice cubes in seconds. Everything I blend is perfectly blended without lumps or chunks. I like that it comes with the smaller cup so I can blend my drink right in it and it's ready to go. With summer coming, I anticipate this blender getting a lot of use for everything from smoothies for breakfast to margaritas and blended drinks at our evening get togethers with friends.

I Absolutely Love My Super Q Blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I was really impressed with the sleek, modern stainless steel design. One of my favorite features is the retractable power cord. I hate having cords hanging out all over my counters, so I was really impressed with this feature. Nice and Neat. I was also impressed with how quiet this blender is. I can quickly make anything from margaritas, salsa, soup, or smoothies. It's really nice that there are 4 preset buttons , the manual pulse button, a timer, and the digital display. It comes with a large blending container as well as a personal sized one. I like that you don't have to get the large one dirty just to make one shake or smoothie. Each lid has a little loop to make removing the lid easier. I like this feature because I've spilled things before trying to get the top off of my previous blender. It also includes a tamper and a scraping tool. I usually store my blender on the top shelf of my pantry but I love my Super Q Blender so much that I keep it out on the counter for all my friends and family members to see. I love showing it off!

Setup is so simple that it’s intuitive. Open the box, separate the pieces from the protective Styrofoam, set them on the counter - it’s obvious what each section is for. That’s it, no tools needed, no confusion over what goes where and how to put it together or which button to push. In just 7 minutes from box to filled personal blender jar, I was crafting my first smoothie. The 8-1/2” x 11-1/2” hardcover “Simply SuperBlending” book is not only good looking but it also has easy-to-follow recipes and photos with instructions to get you started and show you a multitude of ways to make your food preparation easier and faster. Cleanup is simple by hand or by dishwasher. I’ve now used it for green smoothies to start the day, milkshakes, a delicious potato-asparagus cream soup, and easier mixing of the dough for my favorite Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Next weekend I’m hosting a “bring your own ingredients smoothie party” for friends. On a scale of 1 to 10, this blender is an easy 11 for quality, looks, versatility, and uncomplicated efficiency.

This is a work horse!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This is a very impressive blender! First I was amazed by the weight of it. This is very solidly made. It also much quieter than my previous blender. I was blown away by how quickly it works. It turns ice to snow in a few seconds. It whips up a margarita in seconds.
Milkshakes take so little time. I like them thick and didn't have to add more liquid for the blender to keep up! My adult son was over when we made the milkshakes and he had to run out and buy this blendee
It came with a nice hardcover cookbook. I was really impressed with how fast it whipped up gluten free pasta dough. It's a recipie from the cook book. Yum!!!
I also appreciated If could push items down or scrape with the provided tools while using the blender.

BEST blender EVER!!

I am someone who made my own baby food through using another high end blender, but this one exceeds expectations after I used the supposed best blender on the market for years. And, it's just far more attractive looking!

This is one appliance that I don’t mind leaving out on my counter because it is actually visually appealing. The design of it makes it look like a piece of art. Once I used it though I fell in love with how great it worked too. I have used almost all of the settings and all the different types of food I have put in have come out perfect. My favorite feature though is the smaller drink container. I have made so many smoothies not only for myself but for the kids too. Another great product from Breville!!
