Excellent, thoughtfully designed product, as you would expect from Breville. The accessories really come in handy and in general it's been a pleasure to use.

Bowl chopper doesn't seem to seal

I bought the bowl chopper for our Control Grip about a month ago and tried to use it today for the first time only to find that even with only a relatively small quantity of liquid in the bottom it splashed out under the lid. Not sure this ought to happen? There doesn't seem to be a missing seal or anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my new control grip set! Everything is working well, my only 2 concerns are that when using the whisk, you can't use it for than one minute at a time and the lid on the chopper does not lock properly. It comes off when you left the handle up. I think this lid locking mechanism could have been designed better.

Ergonomic, but speed control is bad

The speed of the immersion blender increases slowly as you turn the knob till speed #11 and then it goes into overdrive for 12 and 13. For this quality build you would expect something that controls smoothly with no huge power gap in the middle. This feels like the blender is going to burn up and break. The plasticware that comes with it (chopper and pitcher) seem like they will crack easily, although it has not happened yet

I bought this a month ago so that I wouldn't have to break out my food processor for every small cooking job. This machine is better and more versatile than a cheap blender, and it is easy to use and clean. My only (small) complaint is that the lid on the small chopping bowl does not seal, so if you're not careful you can make a big mess with liquidy materials. Once that is understood, this machine has been a great asset and I highly recommend it, along with other great Breville appliances.

The stick blender works fine. I purchased because I fell in love with the ergonomic grip.
The chopping bowl is a terrible experience. I try to use it to make salad dressings. Because there is no seal, I always have liquids shooting out, leaking everywhere, soaking towels. It’s useless. Why isn’t there a seal?

like the food processor

I bought this about 2 years ago for the immersion blender. I've wound up using the mini food processor a lot more than the blender and have generally been quite happy with it. Yesterday when washing the top of the food processor, I noticed a lot of water inside the plastic housing. The water shakes out slowly and smells really bad. I can't figure out how to get all the water out. I always hand wash this part. The replacement part is not in stock. I wish this part was designed better to avoid trapping water.
