Great phone but the cameras are lacking. I upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra and there is a huge difference between these cameras especially in the zoom quality. Compared to other phones on the market that have foldable devices some are out there have amazing cameras. You've got way cheaper phones out of China that have amazing camera quality like vivo. I paid too much for too little.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's not just an upgrade; it's a complete paradigm shift in how I interact with the digital world. The main unfolded display is breathtaking—a seamless, vibrant canvas that transforms media consumption and productivity. Running multiple apps side-by-side feels natural and effortless, making my old slab phone feel restrictive and archaic.
The refinement in this generation is palpable. The hinge is flawlessly smooth yet durable, and the crease is virtually nonexistent. The convenience of having a compact, one-handed device that instantly expands into a powerful tablet is a feature I never knew I needed, and now I can't imagine living without.
After using the Z Fold 7, the idea of going back to a non-folding or even a scrolling phone is simply out of the question. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive loved all of my Samsung phones. My most recent is the Fold 7, is my fave so far. I would absolutely have loved if the screen closed was larger because it's so light, super-fast, solid construction & w/ AI makes it near perfect. I also would've loved a stylus but if I had 2 choose would be a larger screen because functionally it works better than all my devices combined (w/ the exception of my printer).
Hopefully future upgrades come with a larger screen to save me money not having to upgrade others devices making them suitable & comparable to my phones capability! LOVE👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽
