Hard to open

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without fingernails, like actual length, not working man length, you really can’t open the thing. I do have a thin case on it, but this thing needs tabs or something to help open it. And the fingerprint reader hates me.

An improved spring mechanism allows for a closer fold, minimizing the risk of obstructions when closed. However, opening the Galaxy Z Fold7 can sometimes be challenging due to its slim, flat profile, which makes it harder to grasp firmly, and because the magnets holding it shut require extra force. To ease opening, try using two hands—placing your thumbs on opposite sides and gently pulling apart. Adding a case can also enhance grip and make opening easier. Regarding the fingerprint reader, ensure your case doesn’t cover the power button and that your finger fully touches the reader when unlocking. We appreciate your feedback and value your support.

Great phone except battery

I love this phone is perfect in all aspects but the battery is awful. I would sacrifice having a bigger phone and heavier for a bigger battery that can handle a full day battery without having to recharge mid day. Aside from that the fold 7 is perfect. I love it.

Improved battery efficiency helps you stay connected longer, and we’re here to help you maximize it. You can achieve all-day battery life—it's just about optimizing your device’s battery. To do this, go to Settings, tap Battery, then scroll down to the graph and tap View details to see app usage information. Turn on Power saving mode to reduce your phone’s performance. Tap Power saving, then activate the switches next to your preferred settings. Put rarely used apps to sleep in the background to save battery. Tap Background usage limits, then adjust these options:
- Put unused apps to sleep automatically if they haven't been used for a while.
- Never auto sleep apps—you can choose which apps won't auto sleep.
- Sleeping apps—that won't run in the background; view your current sleeping apps here.
- Deep sleeping apps—they won't run in the background and will only activate when you open them.
Switch to the Light performance profile to prioritize battery life over processing speed. Go to Settings, tap Device care, then Performance profile, and select Light.

Productivity and efficiency are top notch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product allows me to do many tasks efficiently with less distractions when prioritized. Since there is less time switching in-between applications, I am able to use whichever tools the phone provides to cut the time to do tasks by at least half. The phone also allows me to have a more refined multitasking skillset.

I traded in an S25 Ultra, and sort of regret it. I travel frequently for work, and wanted the bigger screen for watching movies during flights. It's great for that, and when in airplane mode the battery life is perfectly acceptable. When connected to a network, whether or not I'm actively using it, the battery level starts dropping immediately. I find I now have to travel with an external battery pack or plugging in frequently when sitting in an airport terminal. Something I never needed to do with my S25 Ultra. Knowing all this, I don't think I would do it again. Probably will trade this in when the S26 comes out. Love you Samsung, but this one just does not do it for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
