[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is an impressive step forward for foldable phones. The slim, premium design makes it feel much more like a traditional flagship phone when it’s folded, while opening it up gives you a much larger display that’s great for multitasking, watching videos, browsing and getting things done.
The larger screen is definitely the star of the show. Being able to run multiple apps at once and have more room to work makes the Fold 7 feel like a phone and mini-tablet in one. The displays are bright, sharp and responsive and the overall performance feels fast and smooth.
The cameras also do a great job, producing detailed photos and solid video in a variety of conditions.
**I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 7 because I wanted something innovative, powerful and different from a traditional smartphone — and it definitely hasn’t disappointed me.** I continue learning new features that this phone is capable of doing. It simply **amazzzes me** how much this phone can do!
And yes, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with a premium price tag, but **it’s worth every penny of the premium price tag**. The features, versatility, performance and overall experience make it a phone I’m truly happy I chose.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 isn't just a phone that folds — it offers a completely different way to use a smartphone and I’m still having fun discovering everything it can do!

Great for reading blueprints/doing daily tasks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought the zFlip, but as soon as I watched a partial clip from a promo video for it I chose the zFold 7.
I am a supervisor for a general contractor and having this phone completely eliminates the need for hauling a laptop with me to do my work on. The screen size when closed is great and unfolding it makes it feel more like a tablet than a phone. It's also great for all types of media consumption. I've dropped it several times and it still looks brand new, so the durability is a major plus.
I chose the zFold 7 because Samsung always delivers when it comes to quality.

Massive disappointment for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Galaxy Z Fold 7 for almost a year now, and it has been a letdown. The main reason i chose this device was so I didn't have to carry a phone and a tablet. However, because it doesn't have a Samsung pen anymore, it loses a lot of its productivity value, meaning I still have to carry both a phone and a tablet around anyway.
When it comes to daily tasks like streaming movies, gaming, work, and school, the overall performance is just so-so. The real issue is that with whatever performance you do get, you give up battery life—and the battery life is truly poor.
To make matters worse, I never even open the device anymore. About three months into having the phone, the inside screen started glitching with a permanent line down the middle. I am now stuck using the front screen of an overly bulky device that fails at being the all-in-one solution it was supposed to be.
When it comes to daily tasks like streaming movies, gaming, work, and school, the overall performance is just so-so. The real issue is that with whatever performance you do get, you give up battery life—and the battery life is truly poor.

Great phone, terrible battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As and educational device, it's great. The Split screen is great for class work. But as the main device for gig work, like shopping and delivering. You need to scan items and then use the android auto for your maps and to stream music etc, the battery life is terrible. Even when using a magnetic charger, the battery doesn't ever get to charge enough to keep doing shops. The battery can't do the heavy lifting of gig work. This is my 3rd fold and all of them has the same issue. Everything else is great.
