The phone is too thin to me, but I got big hands. The screen is also a lot less brighter in the daylight than my s23 or s24 ultra were. Not having a pen sucks really bad. The camera doesn't have the 100x zoom, which also sucks. Other than that it's ok.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's fast, the screen is huge, the transition is seamless, it's incredibly thin opened or closed and so much more. The Galaxy AI is fun, I'm still getting used to using it.

A "wow" from a folding phone veteran

Upgrading from a fold 5 to 7. Love the new size and how slim it is. A bit sad about them nixing the under-pixel camera on the inner screen since it was so neat, but I feel like I won't miss it. Love the green color too. Feels great in hand, I do use both a case and a popsocket, which I think really helps me keep a good hold on it. Unboxed it at work and a group of coworkers oohed and awed at it. We'll see how it holds up but based on my fold 5 staying pristine over the last 2 years despite a few frizbee-esque drops, I'm hoping for great things. I will say the hinge on this thing feels crisp and so satisfying to me, even as a folding phone veteran. I'm really impressed so far. Pic is a comparison of my fold 5 in a case to the fold 7 in a case. Samsung didn't sell a full case so I went with an aftermarket one that covered both sides.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Missing feature

However, Z Fold7 users can still use their fingers for navigation, sketching, and control, or utilize voice control features like Google Gemini for added convenience! If you're experiencing challenges with wireless charging, this could be due to several factors, including the phone's placement on the charging pad or the charger itself. To troubleshoot, please ensure that your phone is positioned correctly on the charger, ideally in the center, and that the charging pad is not obstructed. Me love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far hands down the best fold Ive had, before I started with the z fold 3 and went back to apple due to being fat and heavy but this was so worth coming back! It's light and super skinny! Never was a Samsung guy been with apple for my lifetime but this is a game changer. Is it worth it hell yeah!

The switch from iphone to the best phone 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an avid iphone user for years, however when i laid eyes on the stunning Samsung Fold 7, my heart was set on changing to the greatest phone created to date! The sleek design, large screen when its unfolded, and the Galaxy AI tools that are integrated directly into the phone to make everything so smooth. The switch was made wasy with the use of Galaxy AI which not only ported my information but helped me to customize the apps for better performance. The unfolded screen is tablet size which adds to the beauty of the phone. The apps fit perfectly on the folded and unfolded screen. This phone can run multiple apps at the same time, which adds to the functionality of the phone. If you need a phone that allows you to truly mulitask, this is the phone for you. I was worried about leaving the iphone after 10 years of being loyal, but i have found that this phone is superior in every way. The camera takes stunning photos and videos with an easy tap and hold on the video to create slow motion.
