[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just picked up this galaxy z fold 7 three days ago. I switched from using an iPhone for the last 4 years. I was a trihard galaxy phone user prior to the iPhone. My kids talked me into trying the iPhone so I did. Boy what a mistake. Don't get me wrong but I had the iPhone 14 pro and the 15 came out and the 16 and I just had no want to upgrade to those. I was waiting for the new fold 7 to come out. I had a fold in the past it was the fold 4 if I remember correctly. I loved that phone also but unfortunately they did not have the folding screens perfected yet and after 4 years of use, the screen tore in two. But the fold 7 has come leaps and bounds on the screen and the picture quality is just awesome. I actually enjoy opening up my fold and watching a movie. No more squinting. Also Samsung has pretty much got the AI perfected. The new iphones Ai is well a joke. I am loving my new galaxy fold and I'm excited to see what the future brings for the fold 8 once it comes out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 since launch day on July 24, and honestly, it's been a blast using it over the past week or so. What I love most is how the front screen feels way bigger and more practical than on older Fold models—it's perfect for my everyday stuff like checking emails, scrolling social media, or firing off quick texts without any hassle. When I want to dive into something more immersive, like watching a show or reading an article, I just unfold it super easily to that huge inner display. It's such a relief not feeling like I have to keep it open all the time; I can switch back and forth depending on what I'm doing, and it just works seamlessly. The Galaxy AI built right in has been a game-changer too. Photo editing? Total breeze—I can tweak shots, remove backgrounds, or fix lighting with barely any effort. And for writing tasks, like drafting notes or emails, the smart suggestions make everything quicker and less of a chore. Battery-wise, it holds up great for me. With a mix of using the front screen for light stuff and unfolding for bigger tasks, it lasts the whole day no problem, even with some multitasking thrown in. Overall, this phone's the most fun and versatile foldable I've tried yet. If you're eyeing one, it's worth it for that real-world usability—I'd give it a solid 9/10.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the great AI features for all my photos and videos, I can't find a good reason to go back to my iPhone 17 Pro Max. After the disappointment with Apple Intelligence, I am astonishedto see how far more advance Samsung is with integrating AI to their devices.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The galaxy AI is just the cherry on top. I have been an S series guy since the s5 Active. A colleague recommended the z fold 7 because he had the fold 6 (he also upgraded). I travel for work a lot and this screen is perfect for movies on the plane as well as multitasking with the dual panel views.
I really love this phone! I had the Z fold 5 & 6 and the user experience far supersedes the others. The S-pen would have been nice but honestly it's not missed.
