[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an avid apple user since the iphone 4 but after the 16 and the failure of apple AI I tried the galaxy z fold 7 with (working galaxy AI) and I'm in love. This device is perfect I love the tablet and phone i now have. Super thin I love the galaxy AI photo editing. I was bored with apples lack of innovation and this phone has turned me. Highly recommend this phone or "phablet" if you will to everyone!

Feature Downgrade (S Pen functionality removed)

Only reason why I am getting a new fold is because my Fold5 screen is de-laminating.
The discrete removal of functionality is unfortunate - primarily S-Pen and also removal of behind-screen camera. I occasionally use the s-pen for websites that I have to view in desktop mode.

The S Pen compatibility was listed in the specs for the Fold6, but not the Fold7.
In addition, they want to charge restocking fee, even though the feature removal is quite discrete. Even some case vendors seem to be selling Fold7 cases with S pen slot.

I am also unsatisfied with the removal of the under screen camera. The punch-hole style camera is an eye-sore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I get the new "flavor of the month" every year when the flips & $Olds come out. I have to say, so far this phone is the best comparison to a note that asammy has put out! I know, I know..but I use my device as if it's my personal assistant. There hasn't been a device on the market since the Note line, that functions in this manner.
As far as cameras go, well it functions & takes pics with awesome definition. I don't have an eye to pick out megapixels, etc. All I know is that it works & takes awesome pics & that's how
I determine the effectiveness of the camera.
One thing I can't get over is how light this thing is...crazy light..ive only had this phone since last wednesday and even to this day when I pick it up I do a double take to make sure it is my phone im grabbing. Even making it this light they didn't skimp out on any features in order to do so. Well, they did take out the S-Pen. I'm not really broke up about it, I do miss some features that came with the pen but it's nothing you can't do with your own S-Pen..
The inside screen still comes with the screen protector already in place, which to me is a great thing..
I like everything about this phone EXCEPT FOR THE BATTERY SIZE. Sammy went all out for this Fold-7 & changed/upgraded numerous features, yet they they still throw the same size battery into it. That is a HUGE OPPORTUNITY WASTED!! I'm still i the early days of use and the phone doing it's own "evaluation" so soon I'll be able to go through everything & make tweaks to the system & apps, so that maybe I can go 12 hours without having to recharge. I'm not holding my breath though.
Overall, I'll have to say this is the best fold in the fold product line. While it might skimp on a few things along the way it doesn't take away from the overall effectiveness of the device itself!!

Awesome Multitasking Device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in construction management and this is a beast for multitasking. I can look up plans, review excel sheets and can have several applications open at the same time to be able to transfer information between apps. I started with the Fold series with the Fold5 to the Fold6 and now the Fold7. The Fold 7 finally feels like a regular phone while closed and has the advantage to opening up to a mini tablet. The 7 is half the weight of the 6 and even more powerful. I'm just getting started on using Galaxy AI and its impressive on how much input it puts out. I look forward on seeing how far it can go. Get one and enjoy.
