Galaxy Fold 7 is my first Foldable and I Love It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Fold 7 is the perfect phone that I was looking for. The outer screen is just the right size. The inner screen just blows me away every time I unfold the screen. I use the galaxy fold for gaming, reading books/comics, and watching TV/Movies. The Galaxy AI is also really good. There are so many other hidden features of this phone to I can't wait to find. This is the best purchase I ever made for a phone and I am never going back to a normal slab phone.

I was hoping for a thinner phone with better cameras. The phone IS thinner but the lenses stick out so the case has to be the sane size or it won't lay flat. The zoom camera is still very grainy at low light. I try to video a band in a bar age the quality isn't great.

This design choice helps accommodate advanced camera technology, but we appreciate your insights about how it can affect how the phone lies flat in certain cases. Regarding the low-light performance with the zoom camera, we suggest trying out our Nightography feature. This feature captures brighter and more detailed photos and videos in low-light settings. To use it, open the Camera app, choose your desired mode (Photo or Video), and tap Capture when you’re ready. The Night icon (the moon) will be enabled automatically, enhancing your videos for a better experience. The ProVisual Engine works by using multi-frame processing and optimized frame rates to ensure your photos and videos come out clear and vibrant, even in those challenging lighting situations at the bar. Almost perfect, but still nice.

I previously had the Z Fold 5, and skipped the 6 because I didn't see much reason to upgrade. The 7 is nice, I love the thinness and the weight. However, Samsung REALLY missed the mark by keeping the cameras vertical, instead of horizontal like the Pixel. The phone never sits flat on any surface because it constantly rocks back and forth, and putting a magsafe case on this phone makes almost all accessories impossible to line up correctly because they hit the camera bump. I think if they rotated the camera setup 90 degrees to the top of the phone, they would have had MUCH better end result. Here's to hoping they make that change in the Fold 8.
