Jumping across those generations really highlights how far Samsung has pushed the engineering—slimming down the profile, refining the hinge, and cutting down that bulk makes a world of difference for daily pocketability.
It makes total sense why the hardware improvements stand out, especially when you are using it for its strengths.
Productivity & Media: That expansive inner screen transforms checking emails, handling documents, and jumping on Zoom calls into a genuinely seamless experience, while making YouTube viewing feel like a mini-tablet setup.
The Software Side: Leaning into Gemini unlocks a lot of heavy-lifting potential for a productivity workflow, and Samsung DeX remains one of the most underrated power-user features in the entire tech ecosystem—turning a portable device into a full desktop workstation on the fly is hard to beat once you incorporate it into your routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth fold phone. The first two were the Microsoft Duo's. As we all likely know, they are not making them anymore. So I switched to the Folds. They work great and I already ordered the 8 Ultra. I do the upgrade program and it works great and plan on doing it every new version. Samsung does a great job on design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a senior citizen and over the years working on a computer every day took a toll of my eyesight. I chose my Galaxy Fold 7 for it size an amazing features and how they are connected to my other Samsung products. I have probably purchased every Galazy Fold series since it inception along with the Galaxy smartwatch. I love the Samsung ecosystem which includes my Samsung OLED TV, my Galaxy smartphone phone and watch, my Samsung laptop and tablets. My new Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra and smartwatch Ultra 2 is on pre-order cannot wait for delivery later on this month. I have tested and purchased other brands but always come back to Samsung.

Has everything thing you need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've love the Samsung Z-fold series! Has everything I didn't know i needed! The Fold 7 is thin but durable! It's easy to watch my favorite movie or podcast, while working on projects in another app. Reading e-books on the large inner screen is like using a tablet. Note taking is a breeze. Photo quality is excellent and the AI tools really makes editing easier. The desktop mode has helped with presentations in a pinch. For these reasons and more I will continue to chose the Samsung fold!
