Lightest and Thinnest Samsung Galaxy Fold Yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 daily has been a transformative experience. The first thing I noticed was how much lighter and slimmer it feels compared to its predecessor. It's now genuinely pocketable and comfortable to use for extended periods. The redesigned hinge feels solid and opens more smoothly, while the foldable inner display is brighter and more immersive than ever, making reading, gaming, and multitasking a joy. The external screen’s wider aspect ratio makes typing and browsing far more practical than older models. Samsung’s software enhancements, especially with Galaxy AI tools like real time translation and Generative Edit, make productivity surprisingly seamless. Whether I'm editing documents or watching YouTube in Flex Mode, the Z Fold7 offers a level of versatility that no standard phone can match.
Camera performance is another standout feature. The 200MP main sensor captures rich, detailed photos with excellent low light results thanks to upgraded AI processing. It has replaced my need for a compact camera on trips. While I do miss the S Pen, especially for note taking or sketching, the trade off for a much slimmer profile is understandable. Battery life is decent for a foldable, though not groundbreaking, and charging is slower than some competitors.

I upgraded from the fold 5 and I love this purchase. It's been amazing to see Samsung refine the z-fold series over the years to what I think is perfection. The main sensor being up to 200 megapixels is a godsend but the other cameras do need an upgrade. That's my only complaint and it is a small one. When the phone is closed it feels like using a normal slab phone and it's refreshing to open to that beautiful 8 inch display. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant so far - Samsung Fold 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third foldable from Samsung, and it’s hands-down the best performer yet. The speed and responsiveness are unmatched, making it the fastest Fold I’ve used. The new slim design is a game-changer — no more “brick” feeling in the pocket, and it feels natural to carry around. It pairs seamlessly with my Galaxy Buds, Ring, and Ultra Watch, which makes the ecosystem experience smooth and integrated.
The main foldable display is impressive, though the under-display camera cutout can still feel a bit obtrusive when watching full-screen content. The crease is noticeably reduced compared to the Fold 6, which is encouraging, but long-term durability remains to be seen with heavy use.
Where the Fold 7 disappoints is in audio. The sound is surprisingly quiet, even at full volume, whether on calls or listening through earbuds. This is a step backward from the Fold 6, which had much stronger, fuller sound. Given the premium price hike, this drop in sound quality feels like a real trade-off and makes me question the overall value.
That said, if multitasking is your priority, the Fold 7 continues to shine. Running multiple windows side-by-side, checking emails, and watching movies on the expansive display is exactly where this phone proves its worth. I do, however, still miss the S Pen especially for photo editing etc....
