This phone is kind of a disappointment after the ZFlip6. The camera is worse, the mobile network didn't connect until I dove deep into the settings and manually fixed it. The overall build quality feels more sturdy, but I would have happily bought the Zflip6 again. Also, all the AI integration drags down the user experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 5 years if my Samsung Galaxy S20+ I wanted something different than an block Samsung Galaxy phones. So I got the cool Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and it. I'm planning on keeping it for 5 years and hope it lasts just like other phone does.

Galaxy z flip keeps getting better and better
