⚡ Z Flip 7: Pocket Rocket, Practical Genius.

Okay, I got the Z Flip 7. It's tiny. Seriously, I can finally fit a phone in my pocket without feeling like I have a brick strapped to my thigh.
What’s Actually Cool (The Fun Stuff):
The Cover Screen: This thing is HUGE now! I feel like I’m using a real phone when it’s closed. I actually checked my ridiculous group chat without having to perform the big opening ritual. It’s addictive.
The Crease? What Crease?: I swear Samsung used magic. I keep trying to find it, and it's basically gone. It just looks like a regular, nice phone screen now.
Selfie Trick: Half-folding it on the table to take a picture of my food? 10/10. No more weird angles or asking strangers to hold my phone. It’s my personal, built-in tiny tripod.
Where I Rolled My Eyes (The "Ugh" Stuff):
The Engine: They put their Exynos chip in it. It runs fine for TikTok and Instagram, but when I tried to actually game, it got a little toasty. It’s not a gaming laptop; it’s a fashion accessory that can game, I guess.
Camera Zoom: If you like zooming in on things far away, tough luck. You get the wide shot, or you get a blurry, AI-smeared version of a zoom shot. Stick to taking selfies!
The Bottom Line
This phone is fun. It’s the closest thing to a flip phone from the good old days, but it actually works in 2025. If you want the absolute fastest chip and zoom camera, buy the giant slab phone. If you want a phone that folds down to be adorable and pocketable, while still running all the new AI

Compact and lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how compact the phone becomes. Fits in my smallest of bags. The phone is also super light weight no more wrist pain. Only thing is you can feel where the screen folds when swipping or scrolling on the screen.

Best Flip yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had flip 4,5,6 and now the 7. Just got it so this review is just from the short time that I have had it but so far I'm really liking it. The bigger size of both screens and the thinner profile is great and the new hinge is way better it actually stays open nice and flat and the crease is almost totally gone. Can't say much for the performance have not even used the camera yet but it just looks like a more premium device. Have to say that I really like the Gemini feature as well it has been very helpful.And the cover screen seems like it will be much more useable. Just wish they have more for the trade in because I keep getting the new one every year. Wish I didn't trade the 5 to the 6 that was worthless but the 6 to the 7 was the biggest change that I have noticed in my 4th fold phone experience. Love the flip mostly for the compact size when folded barely notice it in your pocket.
