Not worth the cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was spotty at best. We have flawless cellular signal with our carrier, but the collar is not reliable enough to use realistically. It was a bit difficult to set up, and did not work enough to make the time it what it would have cost worth it.

It's okay

I was excited to get this product but a little more excited then I should've I was sadly disappointed it's battery life isn't great it's mediocre, and the fence has a delay and changes sometimes depending on the location and environment Tobe honest I rather use my training collar instead it's more accurate you just don't have the option of tracking on it. It's pretty expensive for the cons. It's an ok collar but not for me.

This is an OK collar, but you need a subscription

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the PetSafe Guardian GPS fence for about a little over a week now, and I have mixed feelings. There are definitely some things I like about it—it’s wireless, so I didn’t have to dig up my yard or install anything. I also really appreciate the GPS tracking feature. Being able to see where my dog is through the app gives me a lot of peace of mind, especially since we have a large property.
That said, the setup wasn’t exactly smooth. Downloading the app was fine. The instructions weren’t very clear, and it took a while to get everything working the way it should…there were moments when the signal seemed to lag, which is frustrating when you’re relying on it to keep your dog safe. The battery also drains faster than expected—I usually have to charge it every other day.
The collar seems sturdy and fits my dog well, and I do like the option to adjust the correction levels. But keep in mind there is a monthly subscription if you want to use the GPS tracking features. It’s not cheap, so that’s something to consider. Now, there was a code included in tha packaging for a free trial of that, but once it expires your gonna have to pay to continue to use it.
I guess this is an OK product with useful features, especially for people with bigger yards or adventurous dogs—but it’s not perfect. Just know what you’re getting into and be ready for a bit of a learning curve.

Convenient and safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product! Using a pet fence is not only safe but convenient. The app is very user friendly and made it easy to set up. The subscriptions seem reasonable, but will be pricey over many years. It can hold 20-50 fences easily which is great for traveling. The collar itself is durable and is weather resistant. I felt it fit my dog well and was made well. I didn’t love that it is USBC and did not come with a wall plug, that took me a bit. Also, I find the accuracy on the app to be spot on but have issues as I near the fence line- doesn’t always seem like it’s “live.” Great product all around, would recommend.

Great product minus subscription

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup wasn’t too bad. It works off the WiFi so I don’t think it works if that goes out. The range goes with what you setup on app and I only wish if the dog stepped too far out of fence it would give a little shock. It does beep and vibrate. My dog is use to a shock collar so he knows not to keep going. If your dog isn’t use to it then it’s going to have to be trained. I also like the tracking but you don’t get this feature until you get a subscription. Not fond of the price

Peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the peace of mind this offers me beyond what my pups microchip or air tag gives. Set up is time consuming, but easy. The location is highly accurate and dependable. My boy is small and only 8 months old so I do worry about him getting curious and escaping and not being able to find his way home. I do wish the collar/device was smaller and lighter as it is quite bulky on such a small dog. This wouldn’t be an issue on a larger breed at all. Only other thing is that the battery life could be better. It needs to be charged every few days

Wearable GPS for your pup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very sturdy piece of equipment. Easy to setup. One thing I wish was different is the half acre requirement. I think I measured wrong and as a result, it isn’t really working fully correctly for me. Clear that this is a great product and that it would work even better with that. Seems generally accurate and I would recommend.
