Could have been 5 stars. Does what it’s supposed to do. Had a much more expensive gps fence until my pup lost the collar. That was a couple years ago, the find my dog feature did not work well (on the old one) in my area. My pup has been bold lately, so I needed to do something and I tried this collar. I’m on 40 acres and I want my pup to have access to all of it. My training wasn’t hard since it was just a refresher for her. The location feature is way better than it was with my other collar. I know this because of my single complaint. First day I let her go completely without watching, she lost her collar, which I found with the location feature. The collar strap is a cheap rubber thing that relies completely on the tail keeper buckle to keep it from loosening up, nothing on the male buckle like every other collar of any type I’ve ever owned. I rigged the issue with strips of tape on both sides of the buckle, but I should not have had to.

Absolute junk. Will not update. “Fence” randomly moves 10-15 feet in each direction. Can’t reach as far as advertised. Do not recommend
I find it very unreliable. Even with gps reception reading as good, the gps tracking is too slow to update location and is innaccurate compared to app that is used to setup fence boundaries.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We can see that our team spoke with you about this directly, and a GPS fence was unfortunately not the best fit for your location due to heavy tree coverage. Though this system can be a good solution for many locations, GPS systems are not recommended for areas with heavy tree coverage, as this will often lead to greater boundary variation. Great idea and generally functions well, holds a charge well and my dog seems comfortable with it. The issue I have been having is that intermittently the app will not allow me to change fences. The last time it happened after the collar timed out on one fence and when I moved our dog to another fence her location did not register. It eventually sorted itself out but it has happened multiple times and it is frustrating.

It is crucial to mention that to change fences, you would need to have the collar off your dog and with you at the charging base. Fences cannot functionally be changed while your dog is on the move/outside of one fence. We're so sorry for any misunderstanding.
