Good product. Easy to set up and the app is very helpful. Fences are easy to mark with satellite view. Walk the lines with the collar in your hand 3-4 times, there are subtle changes that you will want to be aware of.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This GPS fence is awesome. Very straight forward and easy to setup and use. Training only took a couple of days and the dogs fully understand and respect the boundaries. I was very hesitant to try it, but I’m very glad I did and have absolutely no regrets about getting this system.

The battery life on these collars is awful! I have to charge it daily- I am so disappointed.

We're so sorry to hear you've had this issue with your collar! This collar typically has a maximum battery life of 70 hours, so it's very unusual to need to charge it after one 8-12 hour day.

We have had the guardian petsafe 2.0 collar for approximately two weeks. For the positives: the price point on it was very good when comparing to other collars. The collar is not overly heavy and does fit out Great Pyrenees well for the most part. It was easy to setup cell service for the collar and the app has worked great. The notifications have also been very helpful to let us know when she has left the fenced area.
The cons: One downfall with the collar is the material it’s made of seems to be rubbery elastic material and does loosen throughout the day. This has caused her collar to fall off once and on multiple other occasions it has lowered and become ineffective at containing her as the static correction isn’t making contact with her neck. The option of a cloth threaded collar or thicker elastic collar would prove more beneficial. The other con we have found is the time the collar stays on before needing recharged. We are getting just shy of a full day on a charge before it dies. While reading the manual info it noted a charge could last to three days. We have not experienced this. Outside of these few downfalls, the collar is working well.
Would recommend to others with the small corrections above.

Unfortunately, the boundary seems to move quite a bit +- 10 ' or so which makes it very difficult to train my very energetic Labrador. Connection with the GPS satellites also seems to be erratic even though we are on an open sloped 4 acre lot. These characteristics give me no confidence in the fence. Kind of disappointing, especially given the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for a lot more excersize and worry free fun!

I bought my Petsafe GPS2 fence earlier this spring. My fence was set up for 5 acres, even though own15. 10 of the acres are out of eyesight, and there are too many eagles, a bobcat, and Mr. Badger. Not to mention the coyotes. Training was rough. Mainly because I'm 64, and I wanted to make sure we trained the entire perimeter. The whole month of July. YUCK! The only time she got corrected was to let her experience it. There has been no escape attempts, and she is having a much better quality of life. The holes she digs need fixing every cpl weeks, but it's fine. It's a farm after all. And for us, the accuracy is SPOT ON! And I can watch her from my phone to keep an eye on her while I'm busy elsewhere. Worth every single penny! The ONLY thing I would like to see changed, is the rubber for the collar. It is rubber. So it works loose a little bit. Not enough I worry about her losing it, but the fit will become improper. It's a simple fix. Black electrical tape over the collar adjustment. I'd buy it all over again even if the dont replace the collar material.

Low ability to detect GPS. Signal always registers as poor. We have Verizon 5g internet. Dog ofter goes through boundaries with no shock

Did not work for us. Very laggy. Apparently the trees in our yard were interfering with the service. If thee dog approached the “no-go” zone, the sound would continue until the animal backed up at least 15 feet, which was confusing. I also didn’t like that the corrective shock was 10 full seconds. That is way too long to shock an animal.
