High quality, effective collar with intuitive setu

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup of this device was really simple and intuitive. It required a couple of software updates (one for the charger and one for the collar). One of the updates failed, (could have been my wifi) but then completed one minute after retrying.
After completing the digital fence layout, I was able to test the device thoroughly. It beeped and vibrated when going out of range very accurately. The app allows you to edit and retest at anytime. Once subscribed you can alter the settings and change the type of correction for your pup.
The collar is well made and fully adjustable. Very impressed.

So far the fence hasn't been able to contain my 98 lb Olde English Bulldogge. He walks right through the fence perimeter like nothing and that's with it on the highest setting. The tracking device has limitations when our dog goes into the wooded area outside the "fence." It has shown him to be very far away and not moving at all and then he suddenly shows up in our yard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear this fence has not yet been successful for you and your dog!
If your dog is leaving the boundary, this would indicate the correction from the collar likely does not have 'meaning' to him yet. We would recommend going back to the first training steps and working with him on leash using praise and high value treats to teach him to turn back toward you when the collar activates. When he is very consistent on leash with no distractions, we would recommend moving to a few days of leashed practice with distractions, then off leash with no distractions, and finally off leash with distractions. We recommend only moving to the next step when he has fully mastered the one before and is very consistent.

I had a Halo Collar for a year. The battery would die by the end of the day, and if there was an animal that my dog was chasing, he would still run past the set perimeter. We have been using the PetSafe Collar for a few weeks, and my dog has not let the perimeter yet. The battery also has a much longer life. I charge it every night, but I could probably go two days without it dying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wait for your existing subscription to expire

Nice upgrade vs GPS 1.0. I am generally happy with the product. The App could definitely use some work to support more features but it does the job.
Upgrading from the GPS 1.0 was frustrating as there is no way to easily transfer my existing 1y subscription from the old collar to the new collar, and after 30min online and on the phone i decided that it was not worth my time … at least there was not much time left but its desapointing
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took awhile for me to get this review posted but this is a very nice collar. If you’re looking for something modern your search is over. Need to take your pets with on vacation? Check! You can set all kinds of perimeters with this collar. You do have to download an app, but installation is EASY! The accuracy on this thing is also very amazing! So far I’ve only had to charge it up once. I like that too!! I highly highly recommend this collar!!

Works wonderfully, super easy, and provides peace of mind. The collar isn’t big and bulky it fits well and is adjustable. Set up is easy and everything is completely wireless no digging is necessary. It comes with an app so you can store your customized fences and keep track of your doggy in real time. Battery life is great last up to 70 hours, and the device is waterproof. This device is all you need for a safe place for your fur baby and peace of mind

Trusted brand, nice GPS collar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Petsafe collars in the past and like the added GPS feature of this collar. It is waterproof and adjustable to fit nearly any size neck. It takes a little while to get the fence set up. It does require a subscription and cell service to use.
