Works as Advertised...And Maybe Better

Easy to use and can be controlled from my I-phone or the remote. Quieter than my old unit and better than most of the GE products I looked at.

Very cold air and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air is ice cold. It runs very quiet, I can sleep comfortably even on the hottest nights. The only negative thing I can say and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is all the lights ( cool, fan speed etc turn off after a few mins and I am kind of OCD about being able to look over and see the setting lights on. It is easy to install and weather proof in the window. Def worth putting in several rooms

Great a/c

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using my new smart window unit for a month I’ve really loved using the app. It’s nice to be able to see what the room temp is while at work so I can decide to turn it on or not before I get home. It has only disconnected from the app twice in a month and to reconnect it all I had to do was turn the a/c off and back on and it reconnected automatically. My biggest complaint, which is still a small thing, is the fact that the casing creaks and pops quite a bit as the compressor cycles. Nothing seems faulty or damaged, but sometimes it can wake us up at night the creaks are so pronounced. Again, not too big a deal and my hope is that it will settle eventually.

Funny smell

My only issue with it is that it has a funny smell when it is cycling off in eco mode. I can't pinpoint the smell but I don't like it. Hopefully I can get it figured out.

Very cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ac works fantastic in cooling down a big area FAST! And hasn’t raised the electric bill either! My only complaint is the wifi feature, I have to keep reconnecting it. But other than that this is a great AC!
