Got worse not better.

It’s 2021 and my 5 year old is better than this model. Yes it has a smartphone on the packaging but the app does not work so the WiFi means nothing. Yes in 2021 model there is no WiFi. With the “added” WiFi function the basic timer function is gone. So if you want it to run for 2hrs or start running in 5hrs you are out of luck. No such settings on the device and app never works. Another annoying feature is disappearing temperature so you have no idea what temperature you have set nor if the device is running if it is in stand by mode. The last annoyance is eco mode and 72 degrees temperature every time you turn the device on. It never remembers your settings so you have to set your temperature every single time you turn it on. I have never owned such an annoying device in my life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the 10,000BTU is specified for a room of 450 Sq Ft, it keeps my 700 Sq Ft apt Studio ice cold. I had it on for about 2hours for the entire room to become freezing at 60 degrees. I was concerned that it wasn't going to make my apt comfortable but it has exceeded my expectations completely. I love it. If I could give 10 stars I would...im genuinely impressed.

Works great, some issues with app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month and a half ago to help cool our upstairs (approx. 1000 sq ft) as an addition to our central air. So far we’ve had no issues with the machine itself, works great at keeping the area cooler and is relatively quiet. Installation was a breeze for a window unit and WiFi connection was rather simple.
Only issues we’ve had so far have to deal with the Frigidaire 2.0 app. The app works fine for manually controlling the machine, but when you try to set schedules, it tends to crash and you’ll have to repeat the process 1-2 more times to get it to save.
Overall, we would recommend the product, just with the caveat that the app needs some work.

Great choice for any room

My other one was loud so this was a great choice as it is very quiet and was easy to install. Also, it cools my entire upstairs which will make it quite comfortable in the coming months of summer. I would highly recommend this air conditioner for anyone in the market to replace an old model.
