Does a good job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had purchased an LG Air conditioner last year, and it stopped working after only a week of using it this summer. I received a refund, so I purchased a Frigidaire. Hopefully this will last longer than the LG, but so far so good. It definitely cools the room well.

Noisy, substandard remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is very noisy. I have a much higher capacity unit from another brand which is far far quieter. Of all the window A/C units I have this is consistent with some older units and noisier than some others. The remote shipped with a dead battery. I replaced it with a new battery and it barely works: you need to press the on button multiple times for it to work and sometimes it doesn't ever work. I have almost given up on the remote. I did download the wifi control app and it was a major chore to get it running: the app starts and then tells you you have to download an updated app, and it took forever to get this set up but it works in lieu of the remote which is basically useless. Overall not impressed by this unit at all. It cools the room consistent with its rated capacity, and the price was very reasonable. That earns it the 3 stars but it's a long way from the fourth star.

Such a Blessing

10,000 BTU window ac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have my ac in my room and it’s like a freezer when I open my room door the cool air travels throughout the house leaving it cool. Best part is after a long day from work on a hot day turning it on and walking into my freezer is amazing.
