These Frigidaire AC units are an excellent purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Frigidaire AC units. I not only purchased 1, I purchased 2 of these AC units for my shop! They are energy efficient and being able to turn these units on before entering the building is definitely a plus! I originally had 1 Frigidaire AC unit that lasted for 13 years and chose to stick with the Frigidaire brand when it was time to repurchase. I would recommend these AC units to anyone that is needing to purchase or repurchase an AC window unit. Another plus is they were easy to install. They are also a quiet unit, I never hear it running. Again the smart Wi-Fi capability makes it an excellent choice to purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps the room nice and cool. Can control everything with the convenient app. The display turns on momentarily when you press any buttons to change settings then will turn off so you won't be bothered with lights while your sleeping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great air conditioning unit. I love the wifi functionality because i can turn on the AC from anywhere and have my house cooled down by time i get home. Great unit, cools down the house in no time and is very efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 900sq ft downstairs and it cools the entire thing fairly well. It is a little loud while watching TV but you can adjust the fan speed to Low which helps.

Excellent window unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this unit in my downstairs shop to keep me cool in the summer months and keep the humidity down. Installation was straight forward, with options for both vinyl and wood windows, and I was able to get the unit installed by myself in about 30 minutes. I did have to modify the vinyl window brackets by trimming them slightly to fit my window, and while there were a couple of options for weather stripping included, I feel like there could have been a more of each, and maybe more options included. I had some foam and weather stripping on hand that I was able to combine with the included options and got a decent weathertight seal around the unit.
The Frigidaire app is fairly simple and straightforward, and works very reliably. I have many connected devices in my home, and oftentimes the manufacturers smartphone apps lack in performance and features. Not the case with Frigidaire. I would like to see a "dehumidify" setting, but that could be a limitation of the unit itself. I would also like to see support for more 3rd-party integrations like HomeAssistant.
The unit itself is fairly quiet and cools my appropriately sized space well. The window that it's installed in is underneath our deck, and from outside on the deck, it is fairly quiet, and definitely not at all intrusive. It also seems fairly efficient, as I track my KWh usage daily, and I have not noticed a big impact at all.
Overall great unit with limited but useful connected options. Buy with confidence.
