Below are some helpful tips for cooling:
• If your room temperature is below 60°F (16°C), cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 60°F (16°C).
• Reset to a lower temperature.
• The compressor will shut off by changing modes. Wait approximately 4 minutes and listen for the compressor to restart when set in the COOL mode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our new unit in the heat of the summer and expected a loud, noisy addition to the house. However, we found the unit to be noticeably quiet but still more powerful than we expected. Simple to use controls, without the complicated interface of other units from other brands. This unit far exceeds any expectations we had while being a quiet and comfortable "guest" in our house. It makes the hot days of summer bearable!
