I love the convenience of being lay down and just turn it on/off from the app! I love it, one of my favorite purchased!

Remotes are trash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The remotes are junk. When you turn the unit off it restarts at 72 degs. not where it was sent when turned off. The app also looses connection often.

Hi Cut2bone,
We apologize for any trouble you have had with the remote. You are correct about the air conditioner starting at 72 degrees. If the air conditioner is changed to 'cool' or 'fan' mode then shut off, the unit will turn back on in eco mode. This is mandatory per government regulations. If the air conditioner is changed to 'cool' or 'fan' mode and a power failure occurs, once the power is restored the air conditioner will return to 'cool' or 'fan' mode.
If the actual app is losing connection, be sure that your Wi-Fi is active. If you are finding that the Connect LED is not lit, you should unplug the air conditioner, plug it back in, and then wait 90 seconds for it to reconnect to your home Wi-Fi.

The unit was not really doing a great job cooling the room from the beginning, but lately does not working on the ‘cool’ setting. When I push the button it just skips the ‘cool’. I wash filter weekly and tried turning it off as per instructions but the cooling is not happening.
