Needs more work

The basic unit does seem to work OK after about 4 weeks but there are a few issues:
1. Wifi goes away every night even though the router is 6 feet away. It is enough of a pain that after a week of reconnecting every morning (and the issues below), I have stopped using the app. The appliance still thinks it is connected but nothing shows up on the Wifi list on my phone.
2. The app for the iPhone is miserable. The scheduling is so horrific that I didn't even bother to continue after entering the first two days - partially because I was afraid that the app would lose the schedule and force me to reenter it. The other issue with the app is that it requires so much sign in time and, if you mess up anything, you have to do it all over again. I finally gave up even trying to send in a comment in just pure frustration. The designers should try to remember that the iPhone is not a Windows system - make it easier to use!
3. During the initial setup, there is an instruction to select the appliance from the phone's Wifi list. They don't give you any idea what name to look for. I am in a neighborhood with ample Wifi and the names are continually bouncing on and off the list. It took me 10 minutes to identify which device it was (and it wasn't anything which remotely looked like an appliance name). During that time, the appliance timed out twice to add to the irritation.
Apparently there is no real testing of the app features with regards to ease of use.

Nice & Cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great A.C. unit. Easy to install into my window. Cools my whole apt. 3 rooms & 1 small bedroom. 10,000 BTU is the way to go. I'm so glad I bought this A.C. When the filter light goes on clean filter put back inside. Then press filter button under amber light for a few seconds, then it turns off. It a fine working A.C.

Powerful A/C

I always previously thought of the Frigidaire brand as only for refrigerators but I was pleasantly surprised to determine they make awesome air conditioner units. It has out performed any other air conditioner I have ever owned. It works smoothly, quietly and efficiently. Would definitely purchased again.
