Awesome Air With Frigidaire (AAWF)

I've been buying Frigidaire appliance for over 40 years, my first apartment with my husband was in 1967, we had a window air conditioner, we purchased our home 1972, a bungalow and we are on our second Frigidaire, 24,000.005'BTU,, it totally cools our entire first floor, we recently purchase a smaller unit for upstairs of course Frigidaire.....I would not buy anything else. Oh did I mention we never had to call a repairman.

Economically priced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the unit at the beginning of Summer. I find it a bit noisier in operation than I'd like but I also sleep right next to the unit and it doesn't wake me up at night. Solid unit for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy to hear you are getting some relief from the heat, Cool as a fan. It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. It works as advertized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit for over two months. I bought it for my wife's home office. With all of the computer equipment generating heat, sometimes it gets too hot for my wife's liking. Also this summer in Atlanta Georgia has been a hot and humid one. I just set the A/C unit on Eco and it automatically fires up when the temperature in the room gets too warm, and automatically shuts down when the desired temperature is reached.

problem with previous AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit because I owned another similar Frididaire AC. After this purchase, the previous AC stopped working correctly - it won't shut off unless the plug is pulled (I assume some failure of the control electronic chip has occurred)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It gets real cool enough for my chinchillas
