Consistent, quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were advised to go with this smaller ac by salesman (bedroom was between 2 size btu acs. It keeps the room cool, although it runs most of the time, as it’s a little undersized for the room. It’s much quieter than our old ac, and doesn’t freeze up or spit water. The noise it makes is more like a white noise machine, which drowns out loud neighbors, so we sleep better. All in all, happy with this ac.

Cool, cool and more cool

If your room is poorly insulated or has multiple appliances like product heat (like a kitchen or office with multiple computers), you may need a larger model to compensate. Try adjusting the temperature, settings, fan speed, or air directional louvers for better results! Please ensure there is nothing in front of the AC like curtains or furniture that may be blocking airflow, and check that the filter does not need to be cleaned. My Frigidaire window AC

Thanks for your feedback! This model does have swing louvers to allow you to adjust the direction of the airflow. To do so, simply angle the vents in the desired direction using the tabs in the center. Further instructions are available on page 12 of your Owner's Manual! I hope this information helps improve your experience with this AC.

I wish I never switched from my usual 5K BTU to 6K BTU as it has this extremely annoying high pitched whistling noise if I don't keep it on AUTO MODE, AUTO FAN SPEED, AND ECO, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

A really "cool" air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cool air conditioner, perfect fit for my cabin by the lake. I mounted it in the loft so I love the remote feature, which also has a LCD thermostat display. This unit also does the job.
