Quiet and quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to replace a working air conditioner and glad I did. This is so much quieter and smarter than the old one. It shuts itself down when temperature is reached. My electric bill has been lower, it's energy efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, the side panels with the inserts are a great idea. Cord length is great, no need for an extension cord. Unit econ mode at night works great. Unit is as quiet as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To date, this unit was a good choice for a bedroom AC unit. It is efficient at cooling, but you have to change the selection to "Cool" with every start up.

1st AC Unit I ever bought -Worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Frigidaire FFRE0633S1 6,000 BTU 115V Window-Mounted Mini-Compact Air Conditioner, I could not be happier. The unit is slightly noisy only when the ac is kicking in, but it is much more quite then the two fans I had running 24/7. I was able to aim the air output right over my bed, so now as its 90 outside, I am writing my review in a nice chilly 71 degrees. I forgot to mention I am in a 2nd floor room in a poorly constructed whole home AC setup where the AC in the basement is 65, the 1st floor is 75 and the 2nd floor rooms are always 80 or more. Pros: Easy to setup, love the remote control, love the wide angle air flow, love not sweating after a shower!
Cons: No colorful tassels were supplied to connect to the air output. :)

No need to look at any other models, this one will do the trick for a very large room.
