Noisy fan ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only two weeks of use, the fan started making noise. I'm SO disappointed because the other features of the unit are great. I'll have to move it to another room of the house, because it wakes me up at night
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oh no! I am dismayed to hear of your room air conditioner experience, Jim1F. It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. If improperly installed, even a high quality, low-noise unit can rattle mercilessly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace an old air conditioner ( That is only 2 years old) and bought this one. Two great things 1) its quite than most 2) The remote to control it , is great.

Great AC for the Price!

Great AC for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this AC because I trust the Frigidare brand and the price was right. Had it about a month now and definitely works like a charm. Not a fan of its energy saver mode in that it seems to not keep it the temp that you set it to, hence why I only gave 4 stars.

Great room AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this AC for a bedroom, and it had ended up keeping the bedroom, the hallway, and bathroom nice and cool. Love to auto off thermostat. I think my ectric bill is also lower, as my central unit doesn't have to run all night.
