Easy to use and does it's job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit about a month ago and it does a good job cooling my NYC bedroom. Probably not enough power to cool a larger room. Remote and interface are easy to use and work well. I would recommend this unit.

Great Unit for the money

Cools the room perfectly

Installed easily though the side panels turned out to be too short for my slightly wider than normal window. Purchased an extender kit—worthless & expensive as it turned out. Would be nice if the control panel showed larger text information. Can't be read unless you stand directly in front of the air conditioner. Economy mode seems to do nothing except fail to cool the room. It needs only a few minutes to lower the room temperature when run on the "cool" setting.

It is Big enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased this unit I had misgivings about weather it would be large enough to cool the space I wanted to cool, it is !, actually more that capable of cooling the area I wanted to cool. All in all I'd say this Frigidaire FFRE0633S1 - 6000 BTU Window Air Conditioner is a very good value and there are no rattles or other "sounds", which also a very good thing. I would recommend this unit for anyone living in a small apartment.
