Solid, dependable unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two of these air conditioners. Bought one two years ago and when we had to replace another a/c unit we bought a second one. I'd give this a 4 1/2 stars. It cools quickly, is relatively not annoyingly noisy, the filter is easy to clean, the remote is well designed and the unit is a breeze to install. This is also one of the only 6000 btu units I saw that allows you to change the air flow up and down as well as left and right. My only complaint is that the outside vents on the top of the unit are quite large which allow all sorts of matter to drop in. Otherwise we're extremely pleased with it.

Picked up my second after purchasing a year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually my second model! I have two in my apartment; one in the bedroom and one in the livingroom. They both work well as intended and are easy to install within a window. Do make sure you purchase the correct BTU for the intended square footage of the intended room. Having the right size for the space makes energy efficiency a breeze!

Makes horrible sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A/C often makes loud scratching noise. I need to turn it on high in order to block it out, but I can’t figure out what it is. There’s something wrong and I can’t sleep at night because of it. Very disappointed in Frigidaire.

Now I am Chilling like a Villain!

Really nice air conditioner while it worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a disabled senior. I received this a/c thru Community Action last July. It worked really well for the rest of the season. Hot weather hit this year and it won't run. I don't have a receipt as it was a bulk purchase thru the state and I can't get it replaced without it.

Very fine air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another fine je product from Frigidaire. I have used there products for years and they have held up very up very good. You can't ask for a better air conditioner then this one it cools our bedroom very good even during the 90 degree days that we had. It is quiet running and you can use the sleep timer and it has energy mode you really can't ask for a better air conditioner. We highly recommend this air conditioner.
