First one was DOA, second works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one I got was DOA.... installed everything and then plugged it in, compressor sounded like it was on but air never got cold. Followed all troubleshooting steps. The replacement one works great!

Love the Remote!

Quiet unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit along with the 10,000 btu unit for another room and am so happy with both frigidaire a/c's. This smaller 6000 unit is in a bedroom and is quieter cause it's a smaller compressor. It's compact and light making it easy to install. Great features. Very efficient. Am very happy with our purchase.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great AC. Out of the box there was some damage to the box and when I opened a large section of the cooling fins were crushed / bent over. I did check and no freon leak. Installation was easy and after one week of use I had no issues with it. I needed the AC and didn't want to wait for an exchange so I just kept it. I bent as many straight to allow air flow between the fins and it's been fine, just looks bad on the outside but my office stays cool and that's what mattered. I like it's energy saving features better than others and it turns on the fan occasionally to get an accurate temp of the room. My others don't do that so sometimes they never turn on even though the room is 80 they say it's 72, probably reading some outside air temp so it doesn't turn on. This one works great but one star off for the damage and poor packaging.
