Very quiet, I love I can set a temperature and it keeps my apartment cool during those hot muggy days. I would recommend this product to anyone in need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit to replace a barely 1 year old GE unit that quit working. It is very quiet and works flawlessly. The Eco feature turns the fan off when not needed allowing the unit to stay on indefinitely until cooling is needed. The remote control acts as a thermostat to help even more with controlling the temperature. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I wish I never switched from my usual 5K BTU to 6K BTU as it has this extremely annoying high pitched whistling noise if I don't keep it on AUTO MODE, AUTO FAN SPEED, AND ECO, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
