Great AC for the Price!

Noisy fan ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only two weeks of use, the fan started making noise. I'm SO disappointed because the other features of the unit are great. I'll have to move it to another room of the house, because it wakes me up at night

Oh no! I am dismayed to hear of your room air conditioner experience, Jim1F. It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. If improperly installed, even a high quality, low-noise unit can rattle mercilessly.
