Awesome Air With Frigidaire (AAWF)

I've been buying Frigidaire appliance for over 40 years, my first apartment with my husband was in 1967, we had a window air conditioner, we purchased our home 1972, a bungalow and we are on our second Frigidaire, 24,000.005'BTU,, it totally cools our entire first floor, we recently purchase a smaller unit for upstairs of course Frigidaire.....I would not buy anything else. Oh did I mention we never had to call a repairman.

Great value for the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these units early this summer. Generally, they use little electricity and cool down the space very fast. However, my space is within the range of spaces required by the BTU specification. If you are very sensitive to noise, the units might be somewhat noisy for you, but you will get used to the noise quickly. Overall, given the price, I am satisfied with the product.

Light weight easy to use Very reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to cool a couple rooms and remove the humidity in my place. It does both significantly. I cannot feel any humidity compared to last year. Great product! Energy Saver works great too!

Cools well, the timer function could be improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit cools well as expected. It comes with extra insulating panels which you don't have to use though they are supposed to help keep more of the outside air out of the room. The one improvement that doesn't affect performance is the timer feature - it works well and is useful, but could be easier. In the summer it's hot every day so having the timer function set to come on automatically at a given time, or even just having the timer set to the last length of time when you push it would make it more useful instead of having to increase the time from the default every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for our small bedroom because the old one stopped working. It seemed to run a little loud but either got better or we got used to it. Only stupid thing is it always turns on to energy saver mode.
