Sleek and everything I need in an AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with this purchase. The unit itself looks clean and modern and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in my room. I have it on Economy pretty much all of the time, and my room is always perfectly cool. The sleep feature at night is helpful too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in southern New Jersey and traveled all the way to Dover, Del. for the last air conditioner in a 108 degree heat. This consists of a remote and is one of the best units I've ever had in my window. Thank You Frigidaire!!

Lightweight, easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 3 Frigidaire ACs for this past summer and all have been working well. I'm happy that they're Energy Star. The only negative was that all 3 came with some dents. All cosmetic. On this AC and another similar size, the dents are barely noticeable. On the 12,000 BTU, there's a big dent in the back.

It gets real cool enough for my chinchillas

problem with previous AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit because I owned another similar Frididaire AC. After this purchase, the previous AC stopped working correctly - it won't shut off unless the plug is pulled (I assume some failure of the control electronic chip has occurred)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It works as advertized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit for over two months. I bought it for my wife's home office. With all of the computer equipment generating heat, sometimes it gets too hot for my wife's liking. Also this summer in Atlanta Georgia has been a hot and humid one. I just set the A/C unit on Eco and it automatically fires up when the temperature in the room gets too warm, and automatically shuts down when the desired temperature is reached.

Economically priced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the unit at the beginning of Summer. I find it a bit noisier in operation than I'd like but I also sleep right next to the unit and it doesn't wake me up at night. Solid unit for the price.

Happy to hear you are getting some relief from the heat, Cool as a fan. It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets.
