Love the remote

My first was still working after about 10 years, but I decided to get a new one before the hot weather started. My neighbors actually took my old one and are using it. I never had a single issue with my first one which is why I decided to buy another one - very dependable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the Accordion Side Panels was cracked and damaged, which indicates that you need better packaging. Once I viewed a YouTube Video on Installation, it was pretty straight forward. My only other criticism on this AC Unit is that it is fairly loud. I've had 3 other units from other manufacturers over some 30 years and this one is definitely the loudest.

Noisy

Just bought the unit and after about 30 mins the water hitting the condenser is loud and annoying. Any way to stop this? The rest of the unit works find cools down the room with no issues. I have other Frigidaire units that are not like this. Any help would be great.

It is normal for there to be some noise during the cooling process, and in a humid environment there will be some excess condensate evaporating off the condenser. Very noisy

Regarding the unit not cooling well, the AC should cool a room up to 250 sq. ft. Please ensure the front on the unit isn't blocked restricting airflow and reposition the louvers for better air distribution. In addition, please see page 14 in the manual for additional tips. Exactly what I wanted

I needed to replace my 14 year old window A/C unit. The FFRE0633S1 is Energy Star rated, has an electronic air filter, and a good price. Installation was easy and fast. Very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
