Way Cool

I bought the air conditioner a few weeks ago and it is doing a great job. It cools the room off nicely. We are currently having a very hot stretch of weather and the house is so cool. I love the automatic feature of checking when the a/c is needed. It helps save me money on electricity too. Great product by a great company!

Installation was easy and also included all of the required material. I have been using for over a month and it does an excellent job of cooling my bedroom.

Louder than expected

It cools the room well but I was surprised at how much louder this unit is than the 10k and 12k units we have at home. You can hear it in my daughters room when it's running in my son's room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

JoeysAC, pleased to hear that your room air conditioner is cooling the room well. It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. Noisy Frigidair 6,000 btu

very noisy - while the air is cold enough - the nois is very bad. I have this in the kitchen - thank goodness it isn't the bedroom or living room.

I recommend checking your Owner's Manual (page 4) to make sure that the sounds that you're hearing are not part of the A/C's normal operation. good customer service

i bought this air conditioner at the start of summer. it was easy to installed. But when it did not work, I called customer service. After it was determined that it was damaged, and I had bought it online, the Frigidaire company bought it back. I was very pleased with their no hassle approach. It allowed me to buy a new conditioner.

Great AC for a large studio

We bout this unit about a month ago. It's been doing a great job cooling our 350 sq ft space in the humid Brooklyn summer. Very impressed with all its features, and it even came with insulation panels and everything we needed to install it. so happy with this purchase!
