Perfect For My Workshop and Her She Shed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy all Frigidaire appliances because of quality, durability, and efficiency. I compared this A/C unit with others, and others don't match up. Amps to BTUs performance for this unit is exceptional, and it is so quiet, and easy to install. The value price point is unbeatable too. Because of my application I decided to use the optional accessory 80 lbs. support bracket.

Compact Yet Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a small room this unit is perfect. Installation was simple and after sealing off the sides with additional insulation foam and weather tape there is no draft coming through. My older air conditioner that one replaced was much heavier and larger so I was worried that this unit would not be powerful enough but so far its proven more than capable.

Nice cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was awesome was easy to install, love the feature where you set it to a certain temperature and it keeps that in the room. It's nice having the remote so when you're watching TV you don't have to get up and change it.

nothing like an nice cool room in a hundred degree temps

Disappointed and Displeased

Not very impressed or happy with this unit. While it cools well, it also does not remove much humidity from the air and as a result the the air is damp. Also, this unit shows the Energy Star label on the front panel, however, when I submitted a rebate to my electric company, they advised this is NOT an Energy Star model per the Energy Start website and I confirmed this is not listed on the Energy Start website so I don't know why this has an Energy Star label and seems deceptive to have this on the unit.

Make sure that the unit was under Dry Mode, for it to work like a dehumidifier, it will cool the room down meanwhile. The temperature can be adjusted between 62 °F (17 °C) and 86 °F (30 °C) and fan speed will be held at “Lo”. If the unit is not working as stated, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-374-4432.
