Perfect for my large bedroom and extra hot days

I bought this because I am from San Francisco, and am not used to humidity or excessive heat at all. I needed something for my bedroom that would help me sleep at night, and also keep me cool during the day. For the price, its perfect! It makes some noise, but I sleep with it on every night and honestly don't notice it. It cools down my 10ft. x 10ft. bedroom down very quickly, and is great at keeping it cool. I love having the remote because if I wake up in the middle of the night having set it too cool, or not cool enough, I can adjust it without getting out of bed! This is my first air conditioner, and I am so genuinely happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cools well but is noisy when compressor starts. It also arrived with two dents in it.
And, from time to time, it simply shuts off.
And, from time to time, it simply shuts off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recommend checking your Owner's Manual (page 4) to make sure that the sounds that you're hearing are not part of the A/C's normal operation. The manual can also be located on our website at ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo_PDF/Edison/16120300A00412en.pdf. Also, I understand that the A/C arrived with dents. I purchase this a month ago and love it. Not only does it cool all our rooms but also save us money on our electric bill. I would recommend this ac to everyone.
