Noisy and looses cooling power over time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps I should have considered the 8000BTU unit, but 6,000 I thought would be sufficient for a bed room room that measures 15' X 18'. The energy saver features are worthless as the room never gets cool enough, and the unit continually turns itself off. On non-energy mode cooling is sufficient, but when it's on for the night it loses power after being on for multiple hours. The remote is well designed.

Powerful small window air conditioner

Nice and cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these as I'd had 2 Frigidaires before. They are nice and cold and easy to assemble and install. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the remote buttons work on a scroll thru for the diff modes. So you basically have to be right next to the unit to know what mode you've selected (which defeats 1/2 the purpose of having the remote) but otherwise I love these things!

Remote control with no functional window.

The remote that came with the unit has no functional image. I have to stand in from of the unit with my glasses on and turn on a lamp to see the function's on the A/C. Is there a better remote control that has a viewing window that I can see the function's.

Don't Put It In Your Bedroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To loud for the bedroom if your a light sleeper. To hard to read labels and the tiny lights so keep your reading glass handy plus the remote doesn't display what mode your in. It dose get a small room cold so just set it to auto.
