[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought 2 to replacing older units, 1-9yr old frigidaire, 1- 1yr old friedrich, not the same as older frigidaire but working good. new 1 a bit louder it seems, can not be set as low, can not find any new ones with dark foam inside to block light. hope they last like older units seemed to.

Solid Air Conditioner for a Small Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this is working really well. I ordered two, and neither one has had any problems. They are a little loud, but I don't think they are any louder than other window units. They were reasonably easy to install, as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear your new ACs are working well for you. The noise level should clock in between 52 and 56 decibels (depending on the fan speed), which is about the same level as a quiet office or an average conversation.

NEW PUTER ROOM AC

For example, a 6,000 BTU would perform well in an area of up to 250 sq. ft. Please keep in mind that the room should be insulated well and enclosed, the unit will struggle to maintain temperatures if new air is constantly entering the room. Good little air conditioner, but a little loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this air conditioner. It's really small and easy to install. It cools my room down well enough and it has a bunch of cool features, like dehumidifier and eco mode. My only con is that it's very loud. The fan speeds are so loud that I keep it on low all the time. The compressor kicking on really shakes the wall, too. I've gotten complaints that this was the case.
