Amost Fooled Me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm used to window AC blowers running continuously, with only the refrigeration system cycling on and off as needed. The "Eco" mode on this unit operates differently, and when I first experienced the entire system shutting down, seemingly at random, I thought it was probably "short-cycling" ... a common refrig system fault. Just before deciding to pack it up and return it, I decided to read the user manual more carefully ... finding that everything seemed to be working exactly as described ... and how to operated sans the "Eco" mode, if desired. We've been enjoying the unit ever since ... proving yet again, that it helps to read the instructions. :-)

Best 6,000 BTU AC on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased the Frigidare AC, I wasn't sure the 6,000 BTU's were strong enough for my bedroom. I was surprised by the power of this little AC. It is super strong and love all of the remote control features. Easy to install, not bulky and not heavy for ladies to lift. :)
