Works overall but not the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit in the summer. For a month, the unit was operational but in terms of automatic regulation to a specific temperature is a bit dubious.

Good features, nice remote, did have issue though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked well except... only problem was extra hot spell where it needed to run for 3 days straight - afterwards the electronics were messed up for days. It would change settings on its own and go to super max cool and would not turn off - I had to unplug the machine to have it stop. Changing back to normal settings wouldn't work, as it would reset itself again. After sitting & not running for 2 days the problems cleared up and did not return for rest of season where it ran great. Will see how it works next year. YMMV Would give higher rating but for control issue.

When you are ready to put it away for the winter If you plan to store the air conditioner during the winter, remove it carefully from the window according to the installation instructions. Can’t turn it off

Since day one the control panel and the remote have not worked. We couldn’t just get a new one. Instead we have to cut the cord, put the label on a piece of paper and wait to see if you’ll do anything. That’s awful. Our son needs it so he just plugs and unplugs the unit. ☹️
