A Good Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly of side curtains was straight forward and easy. But I was disappointed in the air deflectors. There doesn't seem to be any way to direct the air upward so anyone sitting near the unit has to endure a draft of cold air.

Great unit but really loud at times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit just under two months ago. The design and everything about is nice, but it can be REALLY loud. It sometimes makes this obnoxious churning noise from the fan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and cool!

Love the 24 hour time, but noisier than expected.

Cons: Fan noise;
While on energy mode, the fan turns on to sense the temperature and it sounds as though the fan is scraping against the styrofoam inside. Once the cooling unit turns on, the sound disappears. However, I got this unit for the bedroom it keeps the room chilled.

Very quiet..Does the job!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had extra company coming and some of them had to sleep in our Florida room which wasn't connected to the home air conditioning. We bought this Frigidaire window unit and it worked very well. Much quieter than I thought and it cooled the entire room with ease. It shut itself off when the desired temperature was reached and then started back up when the room got warmer.
