Good Unit -- Satisfied

I purchased this unit about two months ago, and I'm satisfied overall. It cools our large bedroom nicely. The econ mode and auto fan features are excellent for ensuring the AC is only needed when the room temp rises above the set temp, saving energy in the process. The remote is also nice bonus and performs all the functions that are on the actual unit. Installation was very easy, and fit in our window perfectly.
My one and only gripe would be the noisiness. Apparently, after doing some research, I found that condensation from the room accumulates inside the unit, and the water is whipped up by the fan blades, which causes this noise. It seems that the water does not drain, or at least doesn't drain as quickly. Unfortunately, this causes a sometimes annoying constant scratching/sputtering noise. I attempted to tilt the AC back a little from the window, but it did not fix the noise. I also completely drained the water from the unit; this helped temporarily. If you don't mind noise while sleeping, this is not an issue.
Overall, a good product at a great price that gets the job done.

Best Window Air Conditioner...so cool!

I love all the features this air conditioner has to offer. My room is so nice and cool. It fits just perfect in the window. Cools the room real fast. If anyone is looking for a window air conditioner I would definitely recommend that you get this one.

i was so eager to buy a new window a/c unit for my room after having to go a couple of summers w/out it. if i hadn't been in such-a-rush, i would've taken the time to choose one with a couple of extra features. my fault. but that's ok, when the one i have now wears out, i'll be getting another one.
